About Annie Duke
Annie Duke was born in Concord, New Hampshire and began her professional poker career in 1994 when she placed 13th in her first tournament in the WSOP. In 2000 she played in the WSOP main event while almost 9 months pregnant and finished 10th. In 2004 she won her first WSOP bracelet in Omaha Hi/Lo Split and then in August of 2004 won the WSOP Tournament of Champions for a $2 million dollar payday. She's regarded by many as one of today's best women players and is a veritable icon in Omaha Hi/Lo Split.
