Although DoylesRoom wasn't one of the original four online poker companies targeted by the US Department of Justice in their "Black Friday" April 15th, 2011 action against PokerStars, Full Tilt, UB.com and Absolute Poker, they were attacked a few weeks later by the FBI. However, unlike the big players in the April 15th indictements, DoylesRoom insists it has a right to provide online poker in the US and is continuing its operations. In addition Doyle Brunson himself has distanced himself from DoylesRoom while these legal actions are taking place, but has also said that he wants to return to support online poker once the legal issues in the United States have been worked out.
